The Maui Strong Fund is providing financial resources to support the immediate and long-term recovery needs for the people and places affected by the devastating Maui wildfires.

House of Hope is a private, nonprofit organization offering residential, day treatment, and outpatient substance use disorders treatment for adult women. Services are offered at seven facilities located in Salt Lake City and Provo.

For 120 years, Utah Food Bank has stayed true to our objective of serving those in need throughout our state. We work tirelessly with community partners and volunteers to continue making an impact and fulfilling our mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide.

Children in foster care come from all backgrounds—most share a background of abuse or neglect. They can be newborns, toddlers, or teenagers. They come from every part of the state and every race, religion, and socio-economic group. In too many instances, their parents have unresolved substance abuse issues.

Feed U Pantry is a food pantry run by volunteer students at the University of Utah. Any student or faculty with a valid University of Utah ID can take as much as they need from the pantry. All that they ask is that you be mindful about how much you take and only take what you need. Anyone can donate food or money to the pantry. There is a food donation basket outside the pantry and you can donate monetraily online.

Adopt-A-Native-Elder (A.N.E.) serves to help reduce extreme poverty and hardship facing traditional Elders living on the Navajo Reservation. A.N.E. is a trusted humanitarian organization focused on delivering food, medical supplies, firewood and other forms of Elder support. Respecting the tradition and dignity of Navajo Elders, we create relationships and honor and serve the Elders.

We’re Nuzzles & Co., a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill organization located in Summit County, Utah. In 1990, a group of volunteers founded our organization, originally known as Friends of Animals Utah, so we could come together to find homes for animals in need. Since then, we have found homes for over 25,000 pets.

Since our founding over 20 years ago, we have helped support 30 different orphanages. We have sent over 5,000 volunteers internationally to give nearly 1.5 million hours of face-to-face service in orphanages and millions of dollars in financial support. Most of our support has been to orphanages in Ecuador and Thailand, but we have also supported orphanages in China, Uganda, Vietnam, Peru, and Mexico.

Our mission is to empower Utahns of all ages to make informed choices about their sexual health, to ensure access to affordable, quality health care and education, and protect their right to do so.

In 1987, a small group of caring individuals had a vision: establish a private source of support for suicide research and education, and essential suicide prevention efforts could be sustained into the future. These founding families—each of whom had lost a someone to suicide—joined with scientists to create what today is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, or AFSP.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide a temporary safe haven for companion animals in order to keep pets and their people together in times of crisis, increase pet retention, and decrease the number of animals entering the shelter system.

The Utah Women’s Coalition is a statewide, nonpartisan organization working to improve the lives of Utah women through public policy, advocacy, and education. UWC was founded in 2015 to address the increasing need for thoughtful, research-driven policy on issues impacting Utah women. We seek to foster collaborative partnerships to tackle a broad range of women’s rights issues, and create a space for organizations and advocates to come together to share ideas, pool resources, and develop comprehensive strategies in advancing the status of Utah women through public policy.

Project Rainbow Utah was founded as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2018 to create widespread, visible demonstrations of community love and support for LGBTQ+ individuals.  Our vision is one of neighborhoods across the state blanketed with rainbow flags to create a powerful feeling of acceptance, caring, and safety for our friends and family that identify as LGBTQ+. 

The mission of the Rape Recovery Center is to empower those victimized by sexual violence through advocacy, crisis interventions, and therapy and to educate the community about the cause, impact, and prevention of sexual violence.

’Red Barn Academy is a licensed, two-year life-skills academy that reinvents lives broken from addiction and crime by teaching honesty accountability and integrity in a farm setting.

Davis Education Foundation's story is the story of 72,000 students, 8,000 teachers, and 90 schools in Davis School District. The Foundation was established in 1982 for the "benefit and betterment of schools in Davis County." Early Foundation projects included gathering books for classroom libraries, collecting instruments for music programs, and partnering with businesses to create Mountain High's first computer lab.

At Beyond Addiction Mosaic, our mission is to create a recovery-ready community by bringing resources to life, Beyond Addiction.  We provide Peer to Peer support to individuals looking to achieve long-term recovery from Substance Use Disorder while supporting 'All Pathways to Recovery'. In addition, we actively give back to the community by feeding our unsheltered population and providing them with essential hygiene, clothing and Harm Reduction services.

NAMI Utah is Utah’s voice on mental illness. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Utah’s mission is to ensure the dignity and improve the lives of those who live with mental illness and their families through support, education, and advocacy.

The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. We do this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the nation. We believe that by working together we can Save Them All.

Umbrella Theater Company was started in 2018 by Jamie Rocha Allan, Lee Hollaar, and Cara Pomeroy to promote live theater in Utah.

Many of those who seek entrance into the Academy are convicts, substance abusers, or homeless. This school accepts men and women, both pre-and post-sentencing, who are ready to learn a new and better way to live their lives.’

‘The Havens Program has been in operation since 1969 providing quality care and treatment services to a diverse population that are 18 years of age and older. The organization prides itself on using evidence based treatment models in order to help the individual heal from the issues associated with their use.  The Haven is primarily a Substance Use Disorder facility, but also deals with issues related to trauma, life skills, housing, access to healthcare, family reunification, legal, employment, mental health and pro-social peer groups

MOMIVATE is a new non-profit organization that seeks to ACTIVATE the powerful force of mothers as we CULTIVATE, INNOVATE, and ELEVATE the role of motherhood!

The Salt Lake Valley COVID-19 Mutual Aid Network facilitates connections between individuals in need of support due to the COVID-19 pandemic and individuals offering support. Our network of volunteers provides assistance to community members in need by facilitating transport and provision of basic needs including groceries, prescriptions, and medical supplies.

The Davis Education Foundation, along with partnerships with the Bountiful Food Pantry and the Davis Hospital and Medical Center, has focused on making Davis County a "No Hunger Zone."

Sewing For Lives started as a ragtag group of sewers and non-sewers just trying to make a difference during the beginning of the pandemic. We have continued to supply cloth masks for both hospitals and schools non-stop, thanks to all of our amazing volunteers.

The Salt Lake Valley COVID-19 Mutual Aid Group is a collective of organizers formed to facilitate connections across the Salt Lake valley between individuals in need of support due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and individuals offering support to their community.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

Volunteers of America, Utah provides a bridge to self-reliance and health for vulnerable individuals and populations who struggle with homelessness, addiction and mental illness in our Wasatch Front communities.

One in five children in Utah suffers from hunger, especially over the weekends when school and other programs are not available to feed them. KidsEat! provides a backpack program for children attending the Neighborhood House and Salt Lake Valley Boys & Girls Clubs during the weekdays, and go home to a lack of food on the weekends. 

The Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund was established in response to the devastation left in the wake of tornadoes that swept through Greater Dayton on May 27. The fund allows The Dayton Foundation to distribute funds to charitable organizations that are addressing long-term and immediate needs for our friends and neighbors affected by these storms, and assisting in rebuilding and recovery efforts in our region

Life After Placement is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which was created for the support of women who have chosen to place their child for adoption.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is an organization that builds and delivers beds to children who do not have a bed. Our motto: "No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!"
